bolt care tips/Preventive maintenance

- Be sure to apply Ti-Prep to the threads to ensure smooth threading and prevent seizing.

- Using a proper wrench can make a world of difference in the life and performance of your fasteners. For more torque on the rear wheel, I suggest using a 6mm allen socket on a ratchet wrench.

- Make sure the allen wrench is in good condition. If the wrench is even the slightest bit stripped or undersize, it may damage the allen broach on the bolt.

- Insert the allen key into the full depth of the broach. The more surface contact, the better. If the allen wrench is not fully inserted in the allen drive, it may result in a stripped head.
